OPEN CUTTING CLASS DESCRIPTION AND RULES
Class is primarily designed for professional trainers to compete against other professional trainers, although, any contestant may enter. Cuttin Up Productions utilizes the NCHA CHALLENGER SERIES Guidelines and the NCHA rules of Cutting.  At this time, Cutting Up Productions has no formal affiliation or producer relationship with the NCHA. ​

JACKPOT
A voluntary Jackpot opt-in is available at the time of registration. 95% of the monies collect from riders opting-in to this class is shared with the winning riders per the 2017 NCHA payout schedule below. 

Specific Show Rules
  • Class size limited to 15 riders (pre-registered through this website) 
  • The class will be drawn and posted by noon, the Friday before the show
  • If the class has any open slots, contestants may register on site; however, they will be placed at the first available slot after the last pre-entered draw. 
  • Open riders may ride up 2 horses
  • 4 cows per rider
  • 2 minute clock
For Jackpot Monies, the following 2017 NCHA payout schedule will be used.
Percentage payouts for the Open Class will adhere to the following NCHA Weekend Show Payout schedule. With a full class, the highest scoring four places will divide the jackpot, per the the following percentages
