How Do Show Stall Reservations Work?
- Reserving your stall at a show is a concierge service so that you can arrive at the show and unload your horse and equipment without delay and so that you are close to all other team members, the team lounge, communication board and your coach.
- Pam will remind show team members via text when dates are posted for SHTX stall reservations.
- Provide Pam with your preference for stalling.
- Provide Pam with your preference for tack stalls – either individual or shared.
- Text Pam a minimum of three days prior to the open date for stall reservations with your arrival and departure date, number of stalls, special requests.
- Stall reservations will be made in a team block for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night.
- If you will arrive outside the standard show dates – for example: arriving for Friday and Saturday only – we will make your stall reservation for those dates and request a location next to the team block. Every attempt will be made to accommodate special requests.
- Your stall/stalls will be paid for at the time of booking. You do not need to provide your credit card.
- Four bags of shavings will be ordered for each stall at all shows.
- Tack stalls will be reserved, either individually or shared based on preference, up to four riders in a tack stall but typically 3 riders per stall. .
- Cancellation will be per SHTX policy or show producer policy. If any stall cancelled within SHTX policy, can’t be filled, there will be a $15 charge to cover cancellation fees. For any stall cancelled outside SHTX policy, which we can’t fill, the team member will be responsible for the full stall and shaving charge.
- Stalls will be invoiced at the start of each show. Payment can be made by check or with cash at the show. If you prefer, credit card payment can be made at least one week prior to the show date. There will be a 3% additional fee for credit card payments to cover fees associated with this service.
- RV/LQ reservations should be made individually directly through SHTX or the show venue.

- Can I stall by my team friend? YES – just let us know which horse/friend you would like to be next to!
- Can I share a tack stall with the same team member at each show? YES – just let us know when you confirm attendance!
- Can I have my own tack stall? YES – just let us know your preference!
- What if I need to cancel? YES – within SHTX policy. Every attempt will be made to fill your stall if you need to cancel. If we can’t, and cancellation is within SHTX policy, you will only be responsible for $15 to cover cancellation fees. If you are outside the SHTX cancellation policy, we will try to fill your spot. If we can’t, SHTX will require your payment of the full amount.
- Will I have shavings? YES – Four bags will be in your stall when you arrive. Additional shavings will be available directly from show management after arrival.
- What if I need to stay an extra day? YES - extending stay is generally available directly through the show office and can be arranged after your arrival!
- Can I arrive on days outside the standard Thursday, Friday, Saturday? YES – just let us know your arrival date when you send your stall reservation text. We will do our best to be sure your stall is next to your shared tack stall. Unless there is a text with different instructions, stalls at most shows will be reserved for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night.
